I loved putting together the crazy green and striped patterns. I gave this quilt to my sister-in-law Melissa one year for Christmas. Her favorite color is green, and I think purple is the perfect compliment.
Several years ago I started quilting. I was a new mom with some extra time on my hands and was looking for a creative outlet. I bought a sewing machine, scrounged up some fabric, and pieced together my first quilt with the help of a quilting specialist friend.
Since that time I have created several quilts and countless other sewing related projects. I am NOT an expert but rather a girl with a love of fabric, and eye for detail, and a talent for following instructions.
A wise woman once told me that, "life is a grand adventure". I believe it, and I live for it. This blog is dedicated to the people, experiences, and adventures that I am fortunate enough to share my life with. There will be kids, stories, insights, random thoughts, and the occasional project thrown in the mix. Of course, at the center of my adventures lie my husband Christian and kids Cali, Carter, & Caleb. Or, as they are frequently referred as, the Wild Meowzers.

Lovely! I love green and purple together too.
Wow, I wonder if I dust off my rusty ol' sewing machine if I could learn how to do this. I'm totally inspired!
Very impressive. Who knew you would turn out to be sew crafty!
This is lovely!
Oh my. Do you honestly make all these quilts? Who knew. They look much to intricate and time consuming for me! Way to go!
